I've seen the first one in person. CWEST Kit w/ Scoot Hood. Absolute Ricefest on the inside. The second one truly came out of a box of Unclebens.

This is Loi's car, Owner of Sportcarmotion.com, and right now for me it's the best looking FD.

This yellow one is my favorite. But if this is a thread about the greatest FD we've seen, why were the first two posted? You'd be hard pressed to find wheels uglier than on those two.

The very first RX-7 belongs to Jay Laub I believe. Its orange now. Those were Blitz's on his car.

The more I see modded sevens (exterior) the more I'm reminded of how clean the stock look was. Sometimes I wish I never messed with my car from that.

It's no longer Loi's -- he sold it a few weeks ago to a kid. The kid already blew the motor.

I wanna cry! I loved Loi's car. Why didn't he sell it to me
Do you know how much it sold for?

Also, yes that red car is gorgeous. I love seeing it in person all the time

Anybody find a straight answer on what exact color that red one is? Last I heard (obviously seond hand info), it was actually VR, or possibly a "new" VR.

A fresh coat of Vintage Red.

This photo is from Goodfella after he had his VR repainted VR (Last car on the right). Although a bit hard to see, you can see that the red is alot closer to that photo than most VR FD's with old paint. Also take into account that cameras and monitors can vastly change photo colors.

Actually, i believe your right. It was vintage red, but he had the paint from the 99 spec wing matched and then painted the car with it.

The car was red originally; I didn’t want to change the color. When I ordered the rear wing I asked for it to be sent in red, but when the wing arrived it came with the 2000 red tone. So I matched the wing color to paint the car, that's how I got the red on the car.

I wasn't talking about Loi's old car. I was talking about the first picture in this thread, which is apparantly Jay Laub's ricefest. Read before you post.
