what size speakers would go good with my 93 touring?

(need 5: one on the dash, 1 on each door, and 2 in the back)

 

The rear speakers are 5x8,an odd size not to many to pick from. A set of 6x9 s with large magnets will fit if you work at it . It will work with the stock location and stock grills

 

6x8s fit well in the rear for non-Bose systems. I've got a how-to on my install:

what about the size of the one on the dash and doors?

 

MY mechanic put bigger speakers in the doors of his first 3rd gen ,a 93. He does not remember the size. He will do his 94 soon and has put in 6x9 s in the rear .

 

The Bose system doesn't have the rear speakers like my web page shows, and the door speakers are smaller than the 6.5" ones in the doors of the non-Bose cars. I think the Bose speakers are 4" or so, but I am not really sure. I bet there are least 10 threads about that subject in here somewhere, though.
