What seats are these?

Anyone have a definitive answer as to what seats they are? I know they are sparco's, and I don't think they are Milano's or Torino's..

Heh, the first thing that comes to mind is Sparco "Bumble Bees"

I don't recall seeing any Sparco's like that-- any idea of what the car is and whether they were a factory option?

Its in a 360 Modena, and they aren't factory, they were aftermarket. Its a pic from an article in European Car with the owner is the guy who owns Axis wheels..

It looks different, the back isn't covered by cloth like the torino, and the bolsters look a little different..

Yeps...that's pretty much true.

I'd like to get some Torinos..but from what I've read...you can't fit them in the car without getting rid of the adjustment *****.

Which doesn't make much sense to me.

It's *possible* they (the upholstry shop) deleted the cloth in back and went with a 'draw-string' style cinch system like (most of) Sparco's one-piece seats, assuming the basic construction is the same (composite shell, in this case two-piece instead of one).

If it's possible, I would have wished to gone this route instead of having my Roadsters recovered. One of the reasons I did not go with the Torino or Milano is that they are chunky looking, and I was looking for something more svelte. Those in you picture look nice and thinner.

Bolster could be different, as that it's just foam underneath - and them wanting to change the profile is not out of the question (for fit/whatever reasons).

The silver inserts for the harness belts tell me that it's a new(er) seat (past year or two) - unless of course they swapped them out or painted them.

If I remember correctly, SportCompactCar mag did an 'ultimate' car contest last year, and the Axis Ferrari won. Maybe they had a writeup of the mods (which I remember being very little).

Wow CJ...musta been promoted to top dog @ EA, huh? Anyhoo, IIRC, James Chen (??) the owner of Axis had Sparco custom upholster the seats for his 360. I'll dig through my old copies of SCC, i seem to recall they mentioned sumpin' about them in there.

BTW, wanna buy a project FD...red, GTC kit, penskes... ;P

Some of the Modena's have F1-style paddle shifters.

If they were reupholstered *thru* Sparco, the work was likely done at http://www.stitchcraftinteriors.com/ , who does Sparco's custom work - like thier WRX demo car they have at the moment. Ask for Revo.

Stitchcraft should be finishing my Roadsters this week, had them redone in charcoal grey alcantara/black leather combo. Ordered a bunch of alcantara material for the rest of my interior too (damn, the stuff is pricey). Will post pics when I get them back.
