What kit is this (looks custom), and anyone got more pics of this car?

Ah, cool. Those are all the kit ideas i can come up with. I did some research on this because i liked deep dish rims but i don't have the power to back up meaty tires. You have good taste so whatever you pick should be awesome, good luck

On the white Border wide-body, the front fenders actually stick out from the doors without any flow into the doors. The space between the door and the outside face of the fender, is where the vents are located, not along the outside of the fender, as they are on the black fenders.

From what I understand the front and rear fenders have been discontinued by the company that orginally manufactured them. I had to get mine from someone who bought a few sets to sell.

At this point, I'm really leaning toward the Border fenders and 1/4panels, but it doesn't look like the fenders will work w/ the Mazdaspeed sideskirts, cuz of how far out the stick. In fact, it looks like you'd have to use the Border skirts only...
The rears look like they can be molded in w/ a bit of work, considering I wouldn't be making that rear vent they have. My only concern is it makes the car look a bit on the heavy side...no?

I just had it handed to me Chuck informed me that the Border kit isn't sold in parts...only the entire kit as a whole. So that's a negative.
I found a couple pics of the FEED 1/4s molded in...still looks a bit fat. But it looks like my only choices are this or the Panspeeds on the orange car w/ the RE kit. Here are the only pics I found of the FEED kit molded in. Hot, or not?
Still looks real wide IMO. Looks very similar to Crashunit's car (in the sense that it's fat in the rear) Apparently, it's really hard to do this w/o totally changing the lines of the car...
Jason's way is looking pretty good right about now
Very nice, very subtle. But the question is, just how much more width is it gonna give ya?

I THINK I FOUND WHAT IM LOOKING FOR! Someone tell me - is it just me, or did they pull the fender out on this car a bit???
You can see the fender area is a little wide here...
And from this angle there's an obvious bulge:
You can see it here too...
Here you can see how it kind of extends out a bit over the wheel...

Hey guys...if anyone's interested, thought I'd give you a head's up that I found a place that still sells these, and some MSport parts: http://www.renovaauto.com/shop.do?ac...s&c=143000&m=0
On that note, who makes this spoiler? Cuz it's def. not the RE GT spoiler (like the one Chuck's now selling)
(Oh, and did anyone else spot the pins on the rear hatch? Someone's running CF hatch, and/or a detachable spoiler... )

This is my Widebody RE GT imported from Japan
I actually bought that kit from a Garage at the dock in BKK, Thailand. That's where they imported all the wrecked cars and parts (aftermarket including) by boat. Boys!!! it's like the Aftermarket flea market for all of us. Well this is my 2nd FD and my 5th bodykit already. Well i'll take you guys through the steps till the present then. First bought the RE kit about 6months ago for $2,000 (80,000baht in thailand)

Okay, the back fenders had to be shaved off extensively. Since i decided to keep the FEED II front so the shop had to added the side to the front bumper. Then i got the Scoot hood on...and woila!! ( sorry, took pics with my phone...wish i got some real photographer) oh and interior is Recaro limited brown from Porche (from the flea market as well) Overall i paid about $1,000 for the installation, fitment and paint. Labor is kinda cheap here. Oh check out the scoot hood ($300) and the Feed II ($300), they are thai made. Not the best quality, but given the road conditions here....who cares...Anything on the road of BKK will BREAK!!!...

Last but not least
Just wanna say thank you to all the wonderfull infos u guys been given me for the last 5 years im here in BKK, thailand. I owned a silver FD back in Queens, NY. Now im pretty much satisfy with her. Oh, thanks for the interior idea from Jspec7 with the Defi guages. I'll try to keep u guys posted if i see anything cool from the dock everytime i go. My name is PK. Im a radio dj for 88.0 Peak FM,and a R&B artist from the same company. ( So i get to play my own damn song ALL DAYYY hahahah) the 7 was just recently a part of the music video from our group. Kinda funny looking at her from the screen. OH, just found out that 1 of the 1500 2002 rx7 spirit r was wrecked and they chopped it in half, exported to the dock and i just bought it. Since my baby 7 is everything '93, now i guess it's gonna be all 2002. Im going to the 7 shop today to get the swap. I'll take some pics of the wrecked spiritR (exterior & interior) and the swapping process. Should take a week (120,000 baht or $3,000) Okie, im off to the shop then..take care everyone!!!
