What kind of shift **** to get?

Hey everyone...what kind of shift **** are you all using.

I just got a short shift kit and was needing a new one.

Also, anyone know the stock shifter thread size?

Thumbs up

Momo all the way, here's a pick of mine. Hopefully this'll help you decide. The only downside if it even is a downside, is that you have to retighten the screws like once a month or so because if you wrench it around too hard it'll loosen just a tad, but even when its loose, you can still use it. In any case, good luck!

Peace,
AJ ^_^

**** doesn't fit in fd

i picked up my momo **** and it doesn't fit. i didn't like the fact that it was siiting so high so i cut the shifter down, to my surprise the shifter flared out dramaticaaly towards the tranny. do you think it would be okay if i shaved the sides alittle so that my momo **** can now fit. i still left enuff thread so the original shifter fits on.

Unhappy

Hmm... I THOUGHT Momo ***** were universal but I guess not. I don't see why you couldn't trim the shaft down a little bit as long as in the end, there's enough thread left for the screws on the Momo **** to catch and grab onto. Well good luck!

Peace,
AJ ^_^

aj my **** is the momo sphere and it doesn't use thread to hold on the shifter it grabs on with screws. hard to describe but it is very nice. i already cut the shifter down height wise, the stock **** feels better but i want to add the momo. because of the diameter of the bottom of the **** it doesn't fit around the bottom of the shifter, i want to make the shifter thinner. i don't forsee a problem because the height has been shorten, so it won't lose its strenght. what do you guys think?

Talking

I know what you're talkin about. It's all goods ^_-. I meant the three screws need the thread to catch onto for a firm grip on the shifter shaft. You shouldn't have any problems with cutting it shorter that I can foresee. Well good luck and I hope it comes out the way you want it to!

Peace,
AJ ^_^
