Memphis pr-100.4, Kicker 350.4, or if you have cash and want great sound quality, go Zapco.

Thats like asking everyone what type of girl they want. Everyone is going to give you an opinion. It depends on how much cash you have to drop and your taste in sound.

from my experience if your willing to drop the money u wont be disappointed with audison but if ur on a buget mtx will get it done.

John64 is right though, there is no definite answer to this its all a matter of personal preference and bank account. best bet might be to check measurements to see what footprint will work best with ur mounting options and what amps gunna give u the best value hitting the rms numbers u want. just keep in mind 99.99% of the time u get what u pay for.

i wouldn't drop money for Audison or Zapco for the speakers he is running. An Alpine, Eclipse, or Hifonics 4 channel would be fine for what he's running.

Any more expensive than those then he should think about new speakers first.

my opinion would be pick a brand and go with that, everything in my car is pioneer except the cap and some wires...
pretty much every company sells a good amp, a better amp and an excellent amp.. just figure it out and go for it...
just make sure you match the power..
if your speakers are 150w RMS / 300 Max then you don't need an amp that puts out 400 rms / 800 max per channel, just wasting money, you just need it slightly higher say 25 to 50 watts higher, and no its not good to get an amp to small because you will have to turn the amp all the way up and then you will distort the sound that comes out of the speakers, NO amp is 100% efficent especially at full power

Brand consistency does nothing really. Just hunt for the best product at the best price. I heard some Focal 165V1's on a sound board in CarToys and I knew I wanted those in my car. I had done a TON of listening before and those really stood out to me. My subs aren't Focal and neither is my amp....but it's beautiful

I have a set of focal 165v1s in my dd. Bitches are bad. I think I only paid $125 from ebay and they were brand new. If you have the money I would pick up a set if i were you. Boston also makes great sounding mids and highs

I doubt he could find an Art series amp that's in good enough condition and not worn out. But if we WERE still in 1998.....it would be an excellent choice indeed

lol, like a wine connoisseur on a vintage year.

I have a PPI600.4 running my show. It's decent but I've started to crave more. I got an email from ED last night saying that the NINe.5 was on sale for $350. That is a great amp in terms of setup. Perfect for an active system and a sub.

RMS Power @ 12.5v : Front Channels
4 x 100 @ 4Ohm @ 0.05%THD
4 x 55 @ 8Ohm @ 0.05%THD
4 x 175 @ 2Ohm @ 0.05%THD
2 x 350 @ 4Ohm @ 0.05%THD

RMS Power (Subwoofer Channel) @ 12.5v :
1 x 250w @ 4Ohm @ 0.09%THD
1 x 450w @ 2Ohm @ 0.09%THD
1 x 600w @ 1Ohm @ 0.09%THD

Yeah, I could rock that.
