what is involved in repainting a hood?
hello, i have a black t2 and the hood is faded all over. i would like to know what is involved when repainting a hood. basically a step by step process. (what grit sand paper to use?, how to stip paint if needed?, what kind of paint?, etc.) as far as paint goes can i use those 5 oz. touch-up spray cans they sell at automotive stores? or should i just take it to a shop and let them worry about it? sorry for being a noob.
thanks,
melvin

well, you need:
the hood
paint
clear
and time.....
i dont know! just let a shop paint it because they have to blend the fenders with clear so you dont notice its been painted.... also, they have to match the color..
