Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only S4 to come with black interior was the 10th AE? So I guess price-wise what is to be expected for a full black interior swap from a 10th AE. I know the carpet, a-pillars, headliner, etc. from the S5 have cutouts and tracks for the auto belts. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

 

The doors are different between the generations, so the door panels are also different. I would suggest using the SEM or Duplicolor vinyl dye/paint and reusing your S4 parts because you won't be able to get the results your want by simply swapping in the S5 interior.

 

I could swear that in my old '88 Turbo II it had a COMPLETELY Series 5 interior...all black with the little red stitching or something. It's been a while, I forget.

Only thing I didn't have was the electric seat belts thing.

 

Expect to get raped. Unless you get lucky, people will charge you an arm and a leg for the black and even the grey interior. I said F*** it and just started redoing my blue interior as it is in near perfect condition. Be original, unless you have maroon. Then your F'd in the A hahaha

 

I just don't think I would be happy with dyed components....I just can't imagine it looking correct or holding up.

According to this thread the s5 door panels are interchangeable, the issue is there is no speaker accommodation in the door itself. With that being said, at bare minimum the dash, rear carpet, and bins could come from an s5 I believe. The pillars, carpet, door panels, and center console would need to come from an s4 to not have any weird gaps do to the seat belts.
