My engine is out being rebuilt so i decided to degrease my engine bay, i took it one step further and was pressure washing underneath the car, to my surprise i revealed that my unibody is Silver Stone Metallic on the underside aswell (1994 touring model fd), i always thought the underside was black.

Is there just 14 yrs. or road grime and brake dust etc, that was clinging to the underside of the car? what color is your cars undercarriage?

 

i believe there is a black rubberized coating on the bottom chassis but i could be wrong...
