What body kit is this?

I need help. I found this front bumper on a website for sale and would love to get it. But they don't sell the rest of the kit. I would like to know who makes this kit? Anybody have pics of the kit on an RX7?

Nick

MBautosport makes that front end. 275 bucks. The rest on his car is mismash of copied pieces knightsports type-L wing, knightsports skirts, discontinued cwest headlights, r-magic style hood.

Does anyone know how that front end fits. With it being such a cheap copy does it have some real fitting issues?

Is it a just a lip? To me that really looks like the stock '99 with no front plate and a different lip. If not.. whats the difference?

its a knockoff 99 front end with a knockoff Veilside lip grafted to the bottom of it. high quality stuff! i hear they use some of the thickest, strongest, yet lightest fiberglass in the world.

Thanks for the help. Where did you see the bumper for 275 bucks? I saw it for that much at Wholsale Hyperformance but want to make sure its the high quality one since there are so much knock off kits.

Damn that is cheap! Wow... Those are the kinda of bumpers you buy 3 at a time and use them for auto-X'ing or whatever so if they get fucked up big deal.

Actually a forum member has that bumper and it supposedly has no fitment issues at all. He said it fits great. So stop trying to be sarcastic joe.

IMO, I think the bumper is ugly but some other people might like it.

Yeah, I think I'm going to have to get that. Looks cooler than the 99 spec bumper I think. And it doesn't a thousand bucks. Its the spec turn signals that are the killer. Anybody know where you can get the 99 signals for less than 500 bucks?

Damn nice for a damn good price.

Be careful with those fokkers....
I had mentioned in another thread, but I had the hardest time convincing them that the GT-C isn't the same as 15th Ann.
Make SURE they know what you are talking about

Speaking of unusually cheap fiberglass bumpers...anyone ever deal with Autobahn Motorsports (http://www.autobahnmotorsports.com)? Their home page makes no reference of it, but if you go to their Specials page they show a knockoff of the Apex'i front clip for $200. When I asked them, they claimed the quality was good with no fitment issues :-)

I have a picture somewhere of an FD with what appears to be an Apex'i front end but with '99 front lights. It looks VERY cool, but I've not seen an updated Apex'i kit anywhere. Anyone know what it is?

How interesting....
Autobahn Motorsports, MB Auto, and that other no-name place are all within ~30 miles of each other (here in Southern California). They all have flashy websites, offer incredible deals, etc. I wonder if they all get their stuff from the same supplier.....

I was supposed to go check out 1 shop that someone posted, but I forgot where/when/why/for who.... :P

G'luck with calling them... I'm pretty sure it's one of their g/f's that answers the phones. She wasn't too knowledgeable. Her advise was for me to come in, which I did.
I don't want to scare anyone into doing anything/not doing anything, but just be forewarned...
