Can someone post up or tell me where I can find hood similar to the first pic? I've seen them before but I'm not sure who sells/makes them. Thanks.

I'd consider getting it if hood pins aren't required and the latch looks like it is constructed well.

Your car is WAYYYYY too nice for a cheap knock-off hood like this .

i just got one for 252.00 out the door and it is nice almost same quality as vis. the clear is not a shiny as i would like it but after i reclear it, it will be devastating. the oem that i purchased fits exceptionally well. the striker is decent but will need some mild modding to close great and eliminate the need for pins.

damn, i've never seen a cf hood for that price...just be careful with the clear coats on them, they tend to fade after a short while.

i never got around to posting my hole aftermarket hood situation. I had bought this hood, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mazda...QQcmdZViewItem , the latch they made for it was way to big, and yes i did adjust the catch for it, they said it was a bad batch but i dont believe it. Here are some pictures.
BEFORE

AFTER

The gaps were much bigger than the pictures would make one believe. This was about a year ago, sent it back and they did refund my money, than ordered a CF Garage S hood from Fdnewbie that im still waiting on to get in, im hoping that fits much better.
