Actually, it'll have a lot of flex...you'd be surprised how flexible and resilient their polyfiber is. But keep in mind that the last thing you want to do is install the bumper in a position where it's significantly flexed, cuz that'll put undue stress on it, making it prone to damage

There seems like there's a lot of interest for the 99 spec wing. I think we can get 15 people to get a group buy. Anyone else interested?

I want no license bumper and 99 spec wing! Get VIS on the ball here, there is obviously interest in these products.

I'd like to see a carbon fiber replica of the undersweep for the RE-A N1 Facer. You can get the bumper replica for cheap but the undersweep is a crazy price ...just because it's imported.

Not to call you out GoRacer, but it looks like this thread is about to turn into a "VIS, can you replicate EVERYBODY'S parts in polyfiber, pleeeaaasssee?" thread lol

Here's the word as of now. We have a potential doner for a front bumper to make a mold of. In the event that he agrees, I think those of us interested in a GB should all chip in and pay for the shipping since it wouldn't really be fair to pay the shipping and offer the front bumper. (That is unless VIS is willing to front the cash)

I'm under the impression that there are more people interested in a front bumper withOUT the license plate holder. I sent Jason from the RX7store a PM asking him to possibly buy some off of VIS along with the gb to make up however short of 15 we may fall. I'm waiting on the doner and Jason's reply.

What I need from all of you is to post a reply IF you want a bumper with or without the front bumper (possibly with the oilcooler ducts) if the price comes out to about 300 - 350 before shipping. Who knows, maybe we'll make the 15 mark on both with and without.

I don't want to come off as an *** but my first concern is the front bumper so those interested in a wing please make another thread or something. I want a wing too but I have to take this one piece at a time. Hopefully, we can get some serious replies. If we come close to the 15 mark, Jason agrees, and the doner agrees, this will become an official GB that I can contact the admins about and we can start organizing the money to get thigns moving, but first I need to know which of you want in.

Chris, might be a good idea to start a new thread, as this one is filled with unrekated posts.

I'm in for no plate holder.

Even if it doesn't work with the stock rebar, $350 is a heck of a lot cheaper than Mazda... and then you still have to worry about rebar cutting or buying...

From what I hear any body shop wirth it's salt can cut the rebar to fit the turn signals...

All the rebar is is a peice of fiberglass... the cutting involved is to enlarge the holes that are already there to allow room for the back of the signal lights... the 99's need a bigger hole. You could do it yourself, sombody posted a picture of it.

I will buy a polyfiber front bumper WITHOUT a front plate holder in the price range of $300 - $350. I can guarantee that, pending alien invasion or the apocolypse.

Atilla almost made one '99 wing. He said there was no interest in them. Anyhow, if it's going to be fiberglass then how about making it with the front lip as one peice?
