VIS "Magnum" bumper

better known to us as the mazdaspeed front bumper, VIS makes a knockoff version of this for ~$200. my current bumper is damaged, and i really like the style so i want to keep it. wondering if i should just buy a new one from VIS instead of fixing mine. does anyone else have this on their car, and if so how was fitment? thanks

hmmm I'm sure if it's only 200 bucks it probably is very thin cause material alone for a good fiberglass bumper like that is like 200 bucks so you may be putting another 100 or so in material to fix week spots etc. Thats if you can do it... a shop will charge a bit more... so in reality this is still a 300~500 dollar front bumper depending on how well you can fiberglass.... oh and I'd also suggest fiberglassing some metal supports in weak flexible areas...
personally though I've never bought a cheap knock off for fear of needing major work, so it's possible it could be built just great... dunno.
