I hope viz starts making a replica soon.Cause 2000 grand is a bit steep.I can see myself spending 2500 bucks for a rebuilt motor but not that much for a body kit.Thats just me though.

well I called viz and they said that theyre working on a vertex replica for the sc300.But they didnt know about a version for the fd.I told the guy that theres quite a few of us that are interested in picking up the vertex. So he said he would look into it.So for everyone that wants a vertex kit and doesnt want to pay an arm and a leg call viz and voice youre opinion.Im sure with enough interest they will see that theres money to be made.So call them asap if you wanna make this a reality.

I dont understand the beauty of knock-off kits. In my opinion, the whole reason to own a Vertex kit is because it is....a Vertex kit.

from what In understand vis makes good body kits. And some of us would rather spend 3 grand on engine work not a body kit.So replicas are a viable option. If it looks exactly the same for a quarter of the price who am I to complain.I hope vis does make a replica that way more people can afford them and also we can save money for the important **** like mnaintenance and a rebuilt motor for when it goes. And it will go eventually.Unless youre the owner of vertex or whatever dont get so buthurt about my comments.

rip off kits don't just mean cheaper, they mean inferior material, inferior molds, and poor fitment reliability, as well as poor customer service when there are problems.

it's a simple thing....If you want the real thing buy the real thing, chances are it will fit and hold up better then any replica. Anyone can replicate something. For the record the Vertex kit isn't 2,000 either. I think I paid about 1,000 for my front and sides which isn't horrible IMO. I will post pictures once everything is painted and assembled.

read it all and it looked like an error of the installer. Most body kits dont fit perfectly.Ive even heard that the real c west has had some fitment issues.

People buy these kits because they are exclusive, not because they are cheep. If you dont want to spend money to treat your FD with the kind of respect it deserves, keep it stock.

all a body kit is made of is ******* fiberglass or urethane.get off your high horse and stop preaching about dumb ****.If youre dumb enough to spend 2 to 3 grand on a bodykit have at it.Me im a practical person. This was never meant to be a real vs replica debate. So **** off with your opinions. This was geared toward others that want a vertex bodykit thats actually affordable.Vis can deliver such an alternative.Have a nice day.

True, bodykits are mostly made out of fiberglass or urethane. If it is that "blueglass" fiberglass, good luck getting it to fit. That stuff is ****. You might as well buy the expensive kits because you are going to spend a bunch of money getting a good body shop that can make it fit. If you're dumb enough to buy cheep-*** ****, than have at it. Dont get upset because there are those people out there that believe in the fact that originality reigns supreme. Read this thread again. You will see that SCRUB got his for about a grand which is very practical for a good body kit. Have a nice day.

scrub only got the sideskirts and the front bumper. What about the rear bumper.Wouldnt the kit look a bit off with no rear bumper? It might.I have to agree.A grand for a good bodykit isnt bad.But was that with it shipped to his door? that remains to be seen.Sorry if I came off as an ***.I wasnt having the best of days.I know theres always purists out there.I just dont like spending extra cash if I dont have to.Also i was going off of other who actually picked up the c west replica from vis and all of them say its fits great.Take it easy.

Im just playing around. I pretend to be a purist but my car is mostly stock. I did just buy a real-deal FEED wing though. Either way man, dont take me too seriously. I am just sticking up for the guys that did spend the extra cash on the Japenese market stuff. Maybe I have some kind of grudge against VIS....Cheers pal.
