Urethane bumper prep

Wondering what products those with the RE 99 urethane bumper used for prep on the raw urethane? Anything special other than the standard adhesion promoters?
Thanks

Prep the bumper by using grey scrotchbrite and scuff the area to be painted. You can also use a abrasive promoter paste in conjunction with your scrotchbrite.

Just stick with the big names like PPG and/or Dupont and you'll be fine. Or if you really wanna be pimp daddy go with the Glasurit line of products.

Chuck sent a short instruction sheet with the bumpers. Maybe he can email a copy to you.

I bought mine through JF Racing and it sounds like they were not supposed to be selling the bumper. So I doubt he'll want to support the bumper I bought.

The Wings West site gives prep instructions also. I've never been able to get paint on poly to be as durable as a factory finish. Even with adhesion promoters, flex additives, flexible surface primers etc. Better than the local paint shops, but not as good as factory.
