Unhappy Turbo Timer Not Working...Please Help

I recently installed a HKS Type 1 Turbo timer using a harness. All the functions work correctly(rpm, kmh, etc.) except for the actual timer function. Can someone suggest something I can do or what I have done wrong? Thanks for any help.

have you hook the e-brake wire?

you have to put the car in neutral and activate the e-brake before sutting of the car.

Also, did you set it for something higher than 0?

hmmmmm

I always put the car in neutral and activate the parking break before shutting off the car. And yes, the e brake wire is connected. I have tried using all of the timer setting options including the auto mode. However, when I turn the key to the off position, the car just shuts off. Can you think of anything else? Is there more than one parking break wire? I only saw one wire when I opened the console up and it was connected to a screw adjustable bracket on the parking break. I don't know what more to say. Maybe that helped a little. Anything you could add would be great. Thanks again.

well yes, there is only one wire.

does the light comes on on the dash (parking brake light)?

you raised to like 30 sec and it still don't work?

man, i don't know, you have done everything correctly.

All i can say is check your connection. i don't know what else it could be.

speaking of problems.

My HKS Type 1 works fine. (for the most part) I have had one thing happen 2 times. This summer, 95+ deg temps outside. I was running errands and had stopped at 3-4 different places so the car was hot but not anything adnormal. then I turned the key off and it just shut down! No countdown at all. SO i turned it back on the Timer had power and seemed to be working fine so I tried it again. Same outcome. This happened 2 times over the summer. but only when it was hot out. Anyone else have this happen?

Oh well

Thanks for the help and the quick responses guys. I guess I'll take the console off again and check the connection. Maybe the wire came loose somehow. It's very likely knowing my luck. If I can't figure it out soon I'll have the whole WINTER to figure it out. Thanks again.
