Trouble with new head unit in FD!!! HELP!

I just installed my new kenwood head unit in my FD but it crackles a lot... sometimes it doesn't, and other times it will. It also won't play songs, like it keeps pausing sort of thing! Anyone? HELP!

No idea, but maybe the head unit is defective. See if you can take it back and swap it out for another.
