Thump T1270 subwoofers

I received 2 Thump T1270 subwoofers, already set in a box. I have been trying to find out some info, but it hasn't been helpful.
I believe they put out 700W max, and they sell seperately for like $20-$50? Bad deal?
I havn't found any reviews, maybe someone here has used them?

They are horrible, shouldnt even be considered a sub. Depends what type of audiophile you are, I guess, to me they are garbage, but I have 5k worth of audio in my fd.

I bought a pair for $25 once just to screw around with in test boxes. At $12.50 a piece they were priced about right, but I'd never actually be able to listen to them

lol...they still make thumps? The first subs I ever got were a pair of thumps (used ones at that) from a yardsale. They were 2 12's in a full range box (all the seems in the box were separating already lol). I used them in the back of my pickup truck when me and my buddies would skateboard ...just sit the box on the tailgate and let'er rip. At the time we loved them...Since then I've gotten my MECP and have heard the best of the best as far as car audio goes....and I laugh everytime I think about those thumps...lol....long story short...they're worth what you pay for them.

I'm not trying to bass out and kill myself with headaches, i just want a bit of thump and better speakers than my shitty stock. Worth it to buy an amp, what watt?

they were actually my brother's, he was in a car wreck and not with us anymore...
You could say I hold onto them for the significance behind them, you know?

if i bought an amp for it...I'd buy a cheap one that's severely overrated to match the subs. Those subs say 700watts max...their rms is probably like 100w. So if you want a little bump and don't really care about great sound...then get a small 200w or so amp.

Check this link...these are actually decent little amps for the price.
