My dome light in my 94' VR FD isnt very bright and the platic cover is sorta fading on me. Is there any sort of polish or spray to brigten up the platic cover? also can i change out the bulbs to make them brigther? Thanks.

yeah, go to your local rice shop and get super white dome light bulbs.

 

Replace the bulb!!!

 

Hehe, he's not kidding. I got some to help get rid of the yellowness, but a nice sideeffect was that it's MUCH brighter now. (usually the opposite when you put in blue bulbs, hmmm) . Kinda looks like there is a fluorescent light bulb in there now.

I'm sure brand makes a difference though, and I think I had gotten Raybrig bulbs.

 

I knew i could get new bukbs, but i was wondering if there is anything i can actually put on the plastic to brighten that up. I remember awhile back someone used something to brighten the their turning signals, but I can't find the thread.
