What gen 7 do you have. They don't make sealed beam 6054's for the 2nd gens with this bulb, only the Cool Blue one's. Probably the same for 1st gens. The 3rd gen you'll be able to get the Silverstar bulb. If you want it for the FC or B you'll have to get a conversion to H4 bulbs. Then you'll be able to get the Silverstar H4 or I think they call it the 3004 or something too, it's the same bulb though. Stupid that they have two trade #'s for the same part.

That's what I did for my FC. I think it's a very cost effective upgrade. I managed to get the Hella kit for 115 Cdn taxes included. Which would be even less for you in Aberta, considering you don't have Provincial sales.

Not sure where you can get them, but it can't be that hard. Find the Sylvania website and contact them, they'll be able to tell you the closest dealer.

I must have posted this seconds after Furious D's post saying he got the kit, so it would have made more timely sense had it gotten in before his addition. I am not an animal!

They must have just started recently, or we may not get this part of the lineup in Canada.

Either way, you'd be better to get the housing kit, then instead of forking out 50 bucks each time you need lights you'll only have to pay for the H4's. It should pay for itself in a few years, and a positive by-product is that the glass has a cleaner looking focusing pattern on the kit than all those little grids on the 6054's.

I got the Ebay special "diamond cut "cases.
I wanted to keep the cases but get new bulbs. The ones which looked like the correct plug style said for motorcycle use only.

I have very illegal blueish tint bulbs currently and don't want a ticket.

ALSO, A cop has pulled me over before telling me that because those lights were not Stock that they were illegal. In other words"If you car came with crappy yellowish light you have to stay with them.
He said if I want the HID lights I should buy a BMW or new car.
I would buy a new car with HID if I WASN'T F*CKING POOR!!!!!!!!

bleh, bad memories. That Cop didn't have anything to do that night. I was doing the exact speed limit and everything when he pulled me over.

I'll probably get flamed, but I got the APC conversion kit. I liked it because it had a cover for the bulb so I don't blind people.

As long as you get a kit and bulbs that are DOT approved, there is no problem, mine says DOT approved stamped right into them.
