sunroof ? on 3rd Gen.

Has anyone ever installed a sunroof in a 3rd generation w/o a sunroof? I have a chance to get a really good deal on a 93', but it doesn't have a sunroof and I really wanted one. Has anyone heard of taking the sunroof out of a salvaged one and putting back into another car or buying an aftermarket sunroof?

I've never heard anything good about aftermarket sunroofs.

I've also hear it's bad since the frames are usually designed for sunroofs, ie the roof is reinforced around the sunroof areas where as adding one in won't be).

You would be better off looking for a touring model if you really want a sunroof.

Yeah, if you really want the sunroof, buy the touring. I wanted a sunroof but I also wanted an R2....couldn't have both so I opted for the R2. I like my choice and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
