DamonB did a nice writeup about custom subs. A search will find it. I have a single JBL 10" sub. It sits right behind the plastic divider on the rear shelf. I made a couple of steel brackets, and attached them to the sub. Then I set a couple of wall anchors into the tube that goes across the back (at the front of the shelf) and screwed the bracket onto it. It stay in place nicely, and fits perfectly under both rear dividers.

I have a 12" Rockford Fosgate Pro Series in a Q-logic box that sits behind the rear divider, works great, sounds great.

finding the space you want to put the sub is half the problem Then you can find what sub will work in that air/box space. So if you have one already start there. I am waiting for a new pair of 8's I'm going to put behind the divider as mentioned above. Will be a tite fit, but will work. Single 10's are quite easy to fit with a properly designed box.

Ok wow...I really like that setup for the subs in the rear pods with the amp behind like that...Who did the work and any way I could get a price estimate on that? I'd be more than willing to pay for something as clean as that...Its literally exactly what I want...haha

i have 2 12" 12lb infinity's in the trunk.. the box is ugly naked and wooden(HDF for lightness) and takens up the whole trunk ... minus my amp rack, the combo of lightweight sub & box doesnt throw outside. and its no where near as nice as whoosh's...

but its 100%stealth using the stock hatch cover+panel and sounds good inside the car...or if standing outside open windows lol. which i'd rather have in the thieving areas i live in

i got some good ideas from this thread
https://www.rx7club.com/interior-exterior-audio-26/fd-audio-set-up-pictures-761502/

i was going for something like mrhetrick. but decided i'd rather go sleeper
