Lightbulb SUBS in the storage compartment

I am thinking about making my storage compartments behind the seat into sub compartments....has anyone done this to their Rx-7 and if they have how does it sound? I'm aiming at good sound and more space in the back but i dont know if it will work....Please write back

subs in the storage compartments will almost never sound any good. Just make a box out of MDF and put it in the back aimed at the hatch glass.

I installed a down fireing 10 in a 87 t2 in a customers car and it sounded realy nice and smooth. Down firing is the way to go.
