Sub facing??

I have a series 1 RX7, I dunno what you guys call them, and a 15" JL sub. Im just wondering which way you guys think is the best placement for a sub. Facing forwards or back or up?

I also don't want to take out the back seat so it has to be in the small boot space.

Any suggestions?

My 10" audiobahn in my second gen got 3-6 db (measured) difference by facing rearward, but my suggestion is that you should just test it out yourself, listening to the same track at the same volume with different placements throughout the car.

Angle of incidence=angle of reflection. I would face it backwards and @ an angle so it will reflect directly forward off of the rear hatch...

Exactly what he said. Point it at the hatch, so the sound reflects forward towards you.
