Af few years ago I saw a company makes a unit for the fd that fits in the spare tire area with a plexi cover, does anyone know who makes -sells them...thanks

 

JL audio used to make a stealth mount sub box with a place for an amplifier. They haven't made them for years, and I haven't seen any for sale used. Your probably better off going to a hi-end car audio shop and having them custom make you a fiberglass enclosure custom fit to the subwoofer of your choice.
