Stupid seatcover question

My leather on my third gen's seats is cracking; so I picked up a couple of elastic "fits any bucket seat" covers. But with the large side-thingies that hold you in so well, the cover is pushed out into a lumpy, shapeless bag that looks really crappy. Is there any cure for this?

Not anyway that I know of to fix the bunching.

You might want to consider replacement covers. Goto the group buy section or do a search for leatherseats.com on the forum.

I had the same problem, but only in my FC. It did look like ****. But then i bought new seats. The only cure is that about after a year the elasticity will wear out in the seat covers and they will fit perfectly to the seats but other than that I couldent find another way. You could try to get your mom to sew them in, hahaha

reupholster. I did mine for $160 down here in Texas and they came out great, got them done on black tweed in the original pattern. Look around your city til someplace that is reasonable and you feel comfortable with...
