Stopping hatch rattling from sub
I searched on this, and I saw a bunch of posts that just said "dynamat," although I'm not quite sure how/if you can dynamat the hatch itself??
The only other answer I came up w/ was this:
Anyone got any other pointers? Cuz my sub is beating the hell outta my previously no-squeak/rattle FD / It's a love/hate thing haha. And here's the clencher: I'm in the group buy for a CF hatch at that! lol
The only other answer I came up w/ was this:

I say you have no chance of stopping the rattling with the CF hatch.
Maybe I would have some more input if KDR would get my car back to me so I could put the subs I purchased 3 months ago in the car.

If its the glass thats rattling, double up on the gasket. You can use window insulation, the stuff that comes in a roll. It its the metal thats rattling, then the only was is sound dampening material. I used FatMat in the 1st gen and it works great. They are slow to ship, but the price is right.

YOU'VE been waiting for it for ages?? LOL. Bro, I JUST picked up the car from the shop on Saturday. Needless to say, I've been goin crazy trying to cram for my exam this morning (yep, only 8 hours away lol). So I haven't gotten a chance to snap any pics of it yet. And seeing that my flight leaves here Saturday at the buttcrack of dawn lol I prob. won't get around to taking the pics until I come back on Tuesday late night/Wednesday morning. But it's coming, promise (It's real nice btw )

I think that CF hatch will rattle without the sub. Let us know if you gain any noticeable speed from it though . Do you have a wing mounted on the hatch?
Solutions; remove hatch=no rattles=weight reduction=faster car right!

If your doing this for weight reduction, your wasting your money becuase the factory rear hatch doesnt wiegh much at all without the glass, I have one outside on a parts car(factory hatch, without glass), when I pop the trunk the hatch slings up so hard that it makes the car shake.
Your "wing" is probably your problem. Btw what kinda sub(s) do you have?

So with both the hatch and the glass it's around 57 pounds lighter.
