Ok, I got rid of the factory unit in my 88 N/A and i installed a CD/receiver. The speaker wires still go through the original factory amp under the glove box. Since my new unit has a higher output does that mean having stock amp in series worsens the sound or makes it better or makes no difference?????

This may sound a little trivial but I am not electronically inclined.
