Is anyone actually using the Defi D-Gauges? Omori?
I've searched around to see a few people that said they were going to order the d-gauge, but I haven't seen anyone post what they thought of them after using them. If anyone is using them, here's a couple questions for you (I e-mailed these to a Defi retailer, but they never got back to me):
1. Can you remove the multi-colored bezel and replace or repaint it so that it's a solid color?
2. Is it difficult to read because a) it goes to 35 psi and we only hit around 13 or b) because each mark is 1.25 psi instead of 1 psi (3 marks between 5 psi instead of 4)? (Why Defi made this gauge this way is beyond me)
hmm... I had some others but can't think of them and I deleted my sent mail. doh.
Has anyone heard of the status of the RX7 Omori gauges? Or have they made an orange backlight for the standard (non-metric) gauges? What about a red needle?
post pictures (of the installed gauges) if ya got 'em.

I will call Defi (Nippon Seiki) about what you want to know.
But I'm in San Francisco now.
I will post it as soon as I get back to Japan.
I know well about Nippon Seiki CEO named Mr. Murakami.
Thank you

Omori gauges
I have my custom Omori sitting in the garage, not yet installed. The original lighting color of Omori is green but they can custom the light to blue, red and orange. However, the custom color gauge only comes in metric. In other word, standard reading Omori only has green lighting. I remember it took me five weeks to get those gauges (egt, water temp and boost). By the time I had them, my engine gave up.
