Stock speakers question

Really quick question that I searched and couldn't find what I was looking for.

Stock FD speakers and a 250w 2 channel amp. Should I wire the speakers in parallel or series and why?

Thanks.

i wouldn`t bother wiring stock speakers to an amp..your just gonna blow em. Anyway i thought amps had seperate channels for each speaker. i dont understand when you say Should I wire the speakers in parallel or series and why? just wire the speakers up as nomal to each amp output..get the polarity correct othrewise the bass will sound **** and out of phase.

have u looked at the stock speakers? they are paper.

running them in parallel is retarded. you have front and rear fade that should be seperate if you plan to run 4 speakers.

get some nice speakers that fit in the front door and run those through the amp. run the rear speakers off the radio head unit and you wll be fine.

yes...get new speakers...and you might wanna look at a 4 channel amp. If that's not an option and you must use the 2 channel amp. I'd recommend pushing the fronts off the 2 channel amp and just use your deck (assuming it's powered) to run the rears. If you MUST run the 4 speakers off the single 2 channel amp. Check to see if the amp supoorts 2 ohm stereo (which most amps do). Make sure you buy 4 ohm speakers...wire the 2 rears in parallel (giving you a 2 ohm load) wire that to one of the channels on the amp. Then do the same with the front 2 speakers and wire them to the other channel on the amp. The main drawback with doing this is you now can only fade to front and rear...you'll have no way to balance them left and right.
