stereo replacement/upgrade
i am looking for the opinion of the forum on what manufacturer is good for a factory replacement. i do not want to go all out rice and get massive subs and a crap load of speakers. i juest want to replace the factory speakers, and MAYBE get a smalle amp to push the larger speakers. can anyone help on what manufacturert o go with, what size speakers, and where each speaker would go. i have no speakers in my car right now and i have no idean where they were in stock trim. i have an 87 t2

personally i have mb quart q's and they are the best speakers imho. i have a extant amp and i love that amp also. the only problem is the cost. q's are 400 per side...so that is 800 for the 2 tweeters and 2 front door spaekers. also my amp was 1g

price really doesn;t matter too much. i realize money equals quality in sound components. it is jsut kind of hard going from a $6500 sound system in my truck to nothin in my rex.
