Stereo Inline fuse....

i've got a rockford fosgate 200m its a 200 watt amp what size of inline fuse from the battery should i have? I have a phoenix gold, gold 30 amp.... Will that be good enough? or too much?

Big Miss Conception On fuses' and amps the fuse is not to protect the amplifier or the equipment most equipment is set up with internals that will protect themselves from damage hence the "protect light". the fuse on other hand is to actually protect the wire and prevent fire or damage to the car from wire failure so in other word yes a 30 would be fine and having a little bit of head room is alright.
