Glass Polish - use a foam pad in a drill or buffer - Elbow grease wlll take forever - the "SPOTS" are from the Hard Warter spots actually etching the glass, thats why you should remove hard water deposits a soon as possible. I still have a bunch of etched spots on my rear hatch. The Hard water deposits can be scraped off w/ a razor blade if they won't wash off, but if they are that stubborn coming off they have most likely already etched the glass - using Rain-X will reduce the formation of deposits and prevent them from etching the glass.

i know how they are formed , i know what they are .....the car was purchased with the windshield and windows with this crap on it ,im looking on how to remove it ...please no other explanations
If you have Collision & Comp Ins. the easiest way to fix the Windshield is to smack it with a Big Rock and have the insurance replace it w/ a new one
Othwisi it is going to take Glass Polish and lots of elbow grease - I know I have spent many many HOURS removing the eched spots from my rear hatch, and they are still not all gone!

Wow, you seem to know it ALL! How could you POSSIBLY not know how to get your SPOTS OFF? Maybe you just need to think harder! Think! THINK CAREFULLY!

I heard this old guy talking about a metal polish he
used in combination with steel wool. Not sure if it
works or will just really **** up your windows, just
thought I would mention it. Lates matt22
