I was checking out some Dual speakers today at the local stereo store, they were interesting in that they had this blue backlighting built into them. My first thought was, "Hmmmmm....kind of ricey" but after that I got to thinking they might not look too bad in my boat. I have some 6.5 Infinity Reference Series in it now and one is acting funky due to moisture intrusion.

So....too ricey to contemplate or not?

 

I used to work at Best Buy where they sold dual and i would be taking out dual speakers at least twice a day because they would blow and dont sound very good pretty much their not very good and i wouldnt even recommend them to George Bush and i was in the military.

 

We've had these exact same dual speakers in one of our FCs for a few years now. They still sound "good" (as good as Duals get) and have never given us problems. We dont have the lights wired because they went in the shock towers of the FC and cant be seen with the stock speaker covers on. They're pretty cheap price wise so give them a shot.

 

duals have to be some of the worst sounding speakers i have ever heard...

I've ALWAYS steered clear of Dual. From my experience, Dual products suck de facto. Look elsewhere.

 

Ricetastic speakers give you 20 front whp each.

 

If you want the Duals you might as well buy Pyramids!!! Hehe.
