Looking for suggestions on speakers. I've been out of the loop for a while and haven't really kept up with what is good and bad. I'm just looking for some suggestions on what to demo. I don't believe in buying speakers until I have listened to them. Just to give you a little background on my preferences:

I looking for a smooth sounding system. Something that will sound good with jazz as well as modern rock. I already have the bass covered. I looking for a good component set that go well with my Tube Driver 752 amp and JVC KD-SH707(24 bit burr brown d/a convertors). I'm looking for a 6.5" component set. Depth is not an issue since I'm going to build a custom enclosure for it. I've heard that Crystal Mobilesound is supposed to be pretty good for the money. I'm trying to stay under $250 for the set.
