Can someone clarify what size of the two speakers that go into each door of an S5? I havent pulled apart the door panel yet and dont want to get that far without having the speakers on hand..

Also, Im looking to put in 8" subwoofers to replace the strut mount speakers, has anyone else done this? What have you used?

 

had 8" subs in strut towers of my old FC they drop right in. search and you'll find the max depths posted somewhere. just know there isn't jack **** for air volume mounting them in there.

For the doors they should be 5 3/4" speakers.

 

For just the rear-most speaker? I would figure that I could put in a coax or triax speaker in but its a two speaker setup in each door. There are two stockers in the door, and I plan on making all of them functional.. I would suppose the front-most is an awkward size though.
Any references on it?

I have a rear strut tower bar so the sides of the towers have been cut for the bar to fit through, so basically its somewhat ported, albeit poorly but its better than nothing..
