Sparco Sprints w/ Sliders
I did a search but really couldn't find answers. I have Sparco Sprints and the sliders to go with them. Can I use universal brackets? or do I have to weld my own brackets? if so How? Anyone else have Sparco Sprints in an Fd? if so how did you get them on?

I think putting Sparco Sprints in a FD is kinda cheap.
But anyway the only big problem you might incounter is that the seat will probably be higher than the stock seat.

What is the reasoning behind this? The Sparco Sprints are the most widely used Sparco's in the world. They are among the most popular for Spec racing and rally racing. They are extremely light, affordable and look just as good as any other seat. I do a lot of research before purchasing any product for my car. For what I need which is a light weight race seat that's affordable and race proven, the Sprints seem like the best deal.
Now back to my original question. Will the universal brackets work with the Sparco sliders? or will I have to fabricate my own brackets?

A guy asks a reasonable question and all you can do is pass some invalid juvenile judgement. Precisely why auto forums are 90% crap and 10% useful information.
I have a Sparco seat in my car and I can only offer info from my situation (well, and the 4 or 5 other people I know that have my same seat). Initially, I don't know of any universal slider or seat mounts that will work in the FD.
The width of floor in the FD is so much narrower than other cars that I never found any brackets that would work.
I custom fabricated brackets for my seat and then modified my stock Mazda seat tracks to make it adjustable. It was quite an ordeal, but not all that difficult. Many people just mount seats like these directly to the floor but you lose adjustability.
The other guy mentioned height and that is somewhat valid. If you fab any kind of slider (or use the stock ones) you risk height being a problem. I am actually 1/4 inch lower in my current configuration, but using thicker metal or a different design could easily put you 2 inches higher than stock (completely unacceptable).
Good luck with it. It took me over a month to get mine right but its worth it. Additionally, if you plan on using harnesses, please get a roll bar. The rear strut bar is not a safe place to mount the harnesses.

Sparco does not make a bracket for the FD. You should be able to either modify a BRIDE bracket, or fabricate something. Seat height is going to be the main issue, as has been stated

Guys, look at Aico's sig. I think that he may have meant the Sparco's are not cheap enough!
From Aico's sig:
Poli Racing black steeringwheel($40)+hub($27).
Used black Jamex reclinable sportseat($80).
OMP silver pedals($13).
Autostyle wideview rear-view mirror($15).

You may want to consider the momo start seat. The Sparco Sprints are a metal frame I believe. Metal frames typically are not very comfortable. The momo start are fiberglass and reasonably priced. In the 250-275 range. They are also easy to mount to the stock sliders.
I went to a place that stocked the whole sparco line. http://www.ogracing.com Their higher end seats are much nicer than the low end stuff. I my current car I went with the ultra's. They are fiberglass and comfortable they are also FIA homo and the Sprints are not.
It's not about how much you spend it's about how comfortable the seat is.

Guys guys relax. I didn't meant to upset people.
I just typed what I had in my mind.
Think about it.......
I think we can all agree the FD is a high-performance car.
Why put such non high-performance seats in it? (I'm not saying it's low-performance) It isn't the price, but the seat itself. It isn't a bucket-seat. For a little bit more cash you can get a real bucketseat. The bottum is just clotch and other stuff. Nothing hard, so you kinda fall in the seat. After a while the buttom might get streched out. And there is no 5th harnesshole.
Usually you use a seat for years or maybe for the lifetime of the car, why not spend a few extra bucks and get a better seat?
I don't just want to talk trash...I also gave good info about the height, but you don't seem to see that.
And yes my sig is funny
