sparco seats....

i plan on getting the sparco Evo seats, and i just wanna know if anyone knows if they raise the seat higher than stock. im 5'11" and my helmet only clears the roof by an inch or so (probably less). so i just wanted to see if in fact it does get raised, and what remedy you have had. thanks

I was also looking at some sparco seats for my 87 TII for autocrossing and was wondering how well the installation goes. They come with a bracked for a direct bolt up? I'm looking at the Torino seats. And yes height is a concern here as well.

Why does everyone want spearco?

I think sperco is overrated. You people realy should look into Riccaro or ever the mazdaSpeed seats.

You need to tell us what model of car you have first.

Sparco and Recaro have several different seat size. But none of them have bracket for FD. You need to custom make it or get it from Japan. Something like this. This can lower the seat by 2".

You should be able to find bracket for FC very easy. It depends you want direct bolt or slide bolt. Slider bolt may actually make the seat higher. Slider bolt can be bottom mount or side mount too. In your case, side mount will give you more head room. So go with side mount. you should be fine.
