Question some may say ricey...

Have a quick question. As many know, LED lights are the way of the future for brightness & longevity. One of my white parking lights is out (the one in the blinker location next to the amber blinker). I've noticed folks like PIAA have 5watt replacement LEDs and wanted your guys perspective. They claim 2-10x brightness (which is needed IMHO) and infinite (ok very long time) lifetime.

As far as I know the Cadillac is the only car that has really started using them, but want a quick "gut check" as I don't want Civics, et. al, asking me about them.

Thanks!

I think it would be awesome in the "third eye" brake light.

I hate Cadillacs because the drivers NEVER use their turn signals.

Mount some and show us! VERY cool mod...just do it!

Once you do it I can mod it to make it blink fast 5 times in a row when you step on the brakes and then emit a a steady glow.

Good stuff!

I personally like the idea. IMO, it looks ugly when you have 3 different colors lights (ie, blue headlights, amber parking, and yellow fogs) like a lot of cars have. I already have brighter and whiter headlights and fogs, so I think this would really even things out. And it is something I have looked for for some time.

Thanks for the link
