When cleaning the engine bay of your 7/8 which products do you prefer for polishing, degreasing, etc. you know for all the pain staking time (if we have it to spare) that we all thoroughly enjoy spending on our cars.

for heavy dirt, i sometimes use whitely's white wall cleaner. Just be carefull, it can be corrosive. For plastics I used "back to black". For shiny things I use brass polish.
