So what options do we have for aftermarket gauges with chrome rings?

I'm wondering if anyone else is as **** as I am about aftermarket gauges matching the stock look on an FD (with chrome rings). I plan to replace my pathetic Autometer boost gauge in the A-pillar and have a dual gauge pod to fill (52mm/2 1/16").

You could always purchase gauges then get the rings chromed or do some trial and error with "chrome" paints. I'm sure there are some hobby "chrome" paints in little bottles like Testors so you could brush it on and not have to disassemble a gauge.

You can get them in chrome. He originally did not order his with chrome rings, so he later used some eBay chrome rings (rather than ordering new gauges).
