dose anybody know where someone could buy "smoked glass" for an FD?

where i live (alberta) its not legal to have film on your front windows but if the glass is smoked its fine.

I've talked to a few tint shops they all said talk to a glass shop they can smoke it for me, glass shops tell me to talk to smoke shops and seem confused when i ask if anyone manufactures smoked glass. do you guys know of anyplace that sells (or smokes) glass?
