Which Sideskirts would you recommend for my car???

I need advice.. All night I been looking to see if I should get a set of side skirt for my car..

I'm getting rid of my Border fenders and going to put my OEM fenders with sidemarkers.

I'm deciding between GTC and CW.. I saw a black FD with GTC sideskirt.. but now I cant find that pic..

Or anyone else have a side skirts with 99 front end??

Can you guys post some pics of sideskirts actually on the car??? I've looked at few..

Here is pic of my car (side view)

Perhaps you're thinking of fd3sblues's black FD.

I'd go with this one.

I would say feed, apex, knightsports (original that racing beat copied), or possibly feast, with my favorite being knightsport (again, the one copied by racing beat). Why would you put border fenders on, and then get a side skirt that takes out one of the vents pretty much? IMO, that will look very bad on a pretty nice car.

It would be sweet to see the Apexi sideskirts on your FD. It'd be like that red importsouthspeed.com RX7. Your car doesn't have a lot of sharp sharp edges, so something like the CW or Mazdaspeed wouldn't look that good imo. Mazda OEM is just as nice though, but probably costs a lot more than the others.

The FEED CF skirts would look good as well, but it may not stand out as much since your car is already black. Doesn't really show the contrast that much, but either one is good.

I say FEED or Apexi or OEM.

I think the Mazda OEM side skirts look the best. The rest make the car look slab sided.

Why do you want side skirts anyway? What design element are you hoping to improve on? Personally I wish the front and rear fenders stuck out a little more; it would make the car look more muscular imo. Side skirts have the opposite effect by bringing the center section out more.

Actually he has the '99 Spec front. I think the CWest sides would clash with the rest of the car, having it's hard edges while everything in the front and to the rear spoiler is smooth and curvy. OEM or Apexi would probably look great.

I have the Wings West copy of the Veilside side skirts. I like them but lately I've been wanting the FEED ones.

Subtle effect, looks good against VR when in CF. I like the look of the one on RotaryExtreme.com

I'd say Apex'i it doesnt stand out very much so it would blend with the rest of your car because you don't have the most big flashy bumper or spoiler or anything.

My picks in order of most favorable:

1) Apexi
2)OEM
3)Feed
4)15th Aniversary Mazdaspeed

If you get Apexi, tell me how hard it was to get and where. It's currently one of the many things on my list of future things to get.

Well, I'm getting rid of the Border fenders.. They are replica fenders and fits like SH$T.

Another reason for wanting sideskirts is because bottom portion of my car is pretty bad.. I want to cover it all up..

I'm debating now between MS GTC, CW, and Apexi.. I think GTC and CW replicas are pretty cheap.. not sure about the replica quality though.. Any recommendation where to get it??

Also, does anyone have better pic of CW sideskirts??

Thanks so much for you opinions.

Thats funny, I was just going to write...

Hands Down: CWest, with those enders. Because the two trailing vents would look good great with two intakes at the back.

But, since you are selling the fenders to me, get some curvy ones, not boxy like the GTC or Feed. Apex-i, Veilside (I am biased on that one) ore factory.

I'd say Apexi. OEM, or Feed. With your current body mods it would be a black version of Jose's red FD if you got the Apexi Sides. Given you are getting rid of your border fenders.
