Yeah. I don't want to take away from it's originality, but I think it would look pretty nice in a darker color instead of having red. It sticks out like a sore thumb. What part of the bay are you from jic? I'm originally from Pittsburg, lived in Hercules, then moved to Hayward.

I would also keep it stock or maybe just a different variation of red unless you plan on stripping it bare and painting all parts of the chassis not just the exterior.

Stock, but maybe a repaint just to freshen it up a bit. Check out Rich's car (GoodfellaFD3S on the forum). He had his VR repainted in VR and it looks amazing.

nice, my car is VR too and i was thinking of a custom paint, like gunmetal too

but i decided that aside from it being more money, nothing can beat the stock color of VR, especially when its new..the car just screams "look at me"!!! haha

Mine was repainted when a previous owner put the sideskirts on. It's still CYM, just a little brighter - more white in the paint? I think it looks much better. It's hard to see the difference unless you can arrange to have the two colours side by side. That happened when I repaired my front airdam and painted it with stock colour CYM epoxy paint. The spoiler is slightly darker - kind of neat.

Don't be upset with the standoutishness of the VR! Try mine - "Hey officer, I'm over here!!!"

I agree by trying a different color, like a darker color that doesnt stick out like you said before.
