(a) pointless,
(b) retarded,
(c) in the wrong section of the forum, or
(d) all of the above
...and I would very much like to thank you for JUSTIFYING my actions by creating yet another A+ thread that does in fact verify your ricer tendencies. I am a little saddened to know that you actually own not one, but two FD's. Hopefully you don't ruin both of them.

Ok MX3 here is the deal. you can't mix two different styles. you either have to go modified stock which is what most go for here and its very clean and simple. The other would be a time attack style, which is where something like this belongs. Time attachs are built for function and everything on them serves a purpose. If you want to go this route don't use this spoiler it belongs on a civic from the late 90s. if you want a good example of a time attach rx7 look under shine's vendor section and look for the black FEED car. now thats a mean rx7.

My vote is for NO!
Couple reasons..
A) ebay crap
B) non-adjustable
C) looks like ****
D) Mounts are WAAAAYYYYYY too close together!
Have you ever followed a 7 at speed with a large wing on it? If so then you've probably noticed how the outside edges flutter, A LOT! The outside bit is where you're going to get the most bang for your buck, so you want the bases to be as far out as possible to stabilize the outside of the wing.
Would you build a +500whp FD then go to the drag strip with some cheapo street tires? NO... so why throw a cheap *** wing on? it's the same theory.
Plus, I agree with duval7 on mixing styles... keep it stock and clean, or go all out. If you go all out on looks, and the engine doesn't have the ***** to back it, then thats ricer, and you fail.
*edit* Oh, and:
So... is it Universal, or is it for the FD

Dude!!! That’s one hell of a park bench, you and 3 other ricers can sit on it when you’re “chillin”!!!! The only things I would be worried about is how that wing will affect your power to weight ratio negatively, how you will get all kind of complements from dork ricers that think that stickers and mufflers add HP, then the fact that you will get laughed at by people that know cars and everyone else for that matter.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not put this on your car. Your car is stock. It is way to small to even look good on a highly modified car. It is a spoiler that probably just adds drag rather than downforce. If you want to get a spoiler that is useful get a FEED or RE-Amemiya.
That's my opinion and I also agree with duval7, fendamonkey, and CheesePowerder
I think its funny how that thing you got is called a "Universal Carbon Fiber GT2 wing....for the RX7 FD3S"
If you are so FOR putting this wing on, why did you even ask?
But you know...now that I look through these pics. Your are right, this....
and this
(and this is roughly what your car would look like)
looks much better or as you would say, nicer, because of the wing than this...
(this is what your car currently looks like)

wing
Take the stock spoiler off for a while. You may like it wingless. I took mine off for cleaning, and paint, and never put it back on. I like "other peoples" cars with wings like those, I just never would put one on my car.

I enjoyed reading your thread. You went from suggesting not do it, to do it.

Hey man don't bring in 240's I own one I would never put that wing on it, I like the clean look of no wing on my 240. You should have said sell the FD and buy a POS Civic. And I say a big NO to putting the wing on.
