Shelby stripes, Rice or not?

I was thinking about having my FD painted either black with silver stripes or silver with black shelby stripes. I was wondering if you guys think its rice or not? Especially, if you have the power to back up the paint job? You can see my sig, for whats been done to my car.

Do what you want. Thats all that matters.

I like stripes on some FD's. I thinks its "Glass Man" that has stripes on his car and they look beautiful.

If you just want to see how it looks go to a arts & crafts shop and buy a roll of white paper so you can cut out the stripes. Then paint the stripes to your desired color and tape them to your car. This is a cheap way to get an idea of how it may look.

To be honest, I realy don't like Black. It looks awesome when you're 20ft+ away, but when you get upclose, you see every little scratch, ding and wave in the car. I must admit though, when its clean (For those 20 minutes after you wash it) the car does look awesome.

If I had my choice to do it all over again, I would have either waited for a CYM, or a Sliver one. Black was a last option. And due to some realy crappy circumstances, (Like me not having a running daily driver) I had to buy it. I realy can't complain, Its been a great car to me. CJ

Glass mans car looks awesome! Stripes on an FD look nice if they're done right, as in his case. But I agree, do what you want, it's your car.

So true...and I WISH it lasted 20 min... I usually take her for a drive right after I wash her, and by the time I get home (bout 10 min later) the front's all messed up w/ all the dead bugs I've squashed and the dust it's collected from the atmosphere already....
