Shaved mouldings

Who has shaved/smoothed the mouldings on their 2nd gen?

What did you use? how has it held up?

Im gonna do this to my car but i want to make sure that she gets the good sh%t.

OR...
should i just take it to a body shop and pay them to do it?

i did it my self... my car is currently at the body shop... i work there so i do it on my own time... i'll post some pics when i get them back from the store and see if you like they way it turns out... the small places, i used body fillar and the bigger places (door) welded sheet metal, tnhen body fillar over... i'll post the pics and you decide

I never thought about welding in sheet metal on the doors and large areas.

Could this be done with fiberglass cloth and fiberglass instead of welding sheet metal and finishing with bondo? I guess welding would be sturdier...

buy some s5 trim. it almost looks shaved/ plus the FC needs a little something to break up the large body panels. unless you have a full body kit to put on it to round the body up a bit.
