Check out Wet Okole

They have neoprene seat covers that are made custom for a variety of cars, we used them on my wife's VR-4. You can get any color you want, and they don't slip, and look great.

They'll send you a free square inch sample of the material. It feels a bit like wet suit material with a foam rubber backing. I was interested in the covers until I had the sample in hand. It just felt annoying.

(I've been told okole means... um... "cat"... in Hawaiian... if you get my meaning...)

Keep in mind, you get what you paid for. Mine was from leatherseats.com and I paid I think about 600 for the pair. These are very high quality and LOOK oem, but better quality. Nobody will look at these and think that they are just seat covers.

the reason they are so expensive is that they are tailored to fit exactly and the leather is nice and soft.

cheers

Also keep in mind....
When you take a hard turn, those damn seat covers will be sliding all over the place.

the wet okole covers are very secure, they don't slide at all in my wife's 3000gt VR-4, course it dosen't handle like a rex. The material dosen't get too cool in the summer winter and not too hot in the summer, wears well, and smells a little like a wetsuit.

I have had denim seat covers on my 88 GTU and they did not slide at all. They kept the seat completly clean. What is good about the seat covers is that you can also wash them.

My mum has redone the black cloth FD seats that I have in my Mariah 1st Gen (1982). She made complete new skins (not covers) in black/red artificial leather. Took the most expensive material, quality does have a price...
But by making them ourselfs (well, herself that is) all labour was free of charge :-) So basicly I have the originals left over. But these are taken apart. So if someone wants to use them, you first must put them together (no damage)

i got a customer black interior leather seats/ BLACK AND REd from leatherseats.com and they are real nice, Everybody loves them. It was a bitch to put them on but they give you the tools and everything so you can do it yourself.
I would post pictures but im afraid people will like em and a lot of FD owners are gonna start getting the same seats. J/k If anybody wants pics, just let me know

The Okole's are nice, they are better for people that frequent the beach. They were originally designed for surfers and the like. Okole means butt. Has anyone tried the Katzkins leather covers?
