Scosche Pocket For FD?

Simple as that...anyone here bought / used / or currently using the Scosche pocket in their FD?
Every FD I have installed an aftermarket deck in so far has had units to go in both slots, but now with my car I have an empty lower slot...
Before I waste tons of time scowering junkyards for a Mazda / Ford pocket, I would rather see if the Scosche pocket is adequate...since I have an account with them anyway.

if it's standard DIN size, it should be fine, but i think you would be happier with the stock mazda pocket, it's got a nice little flip front and looks like it can hold more than that one. that one seems like the pocket is very restricted

Yes, I agree too, but I can get this one for maybe $10 new, and would have it soon, rather than look for an R1 or MX6 pocket and maybe have it in a month or so (if I am lucky).

Yeah, I would say that that one is too restricted on space. Spend the extra $ and get the Mazda pocket. More space and you get a little door.

My car came with one of those. Cheap and VERY crappy big time.

I eventually want a stock one with the slow-opening fold-down door, which is WAY dope. In the meantime, I got one from a '90s 626 from the junkyard - it's just an open pocket, but fits properly and looks really good. Cost was like a buck.

Put it to good use... a fan switch and a AVC-R fit will there w/ a piece of plastic.

The FD came with it stock. The R and base models came with one originally.

I'd like to smack whoever pitched the one that came with my car and replaced it with a bobo Scosche pocket crappo .
