Scoot Hood from Rx7store.net?

I was looking to purchase a scoot hood, and Jason seems to sell this one for much less than Rotaryextreme does. I even spoke to him about it and was told the fitment is great and it's infact identical to the rotaryextreme scoot hood. Although, I've done business with Jason in the past I just wanted to hear from an actual customer on the fitment and quality. So, anyone purchase their scoot hood from Rx7store.net? Is there a reason everyone keeps referencing Rotaryextreme as the place to buy this hood from? Thanks

From what I understood, in the beginning, RE and Rx7 Store both had the hood at about the same price, and I bought mine off chuck, because I think I remember seeing one of the RE picks on RX-7Store's site, now weather or not Jason was getting the hood from Chuck, I don't know, but chuck was local to me and I'd have to pay shipping from the east coast to CA so I figured shuipping was cheaper CA -CA....
If Jason did get the hoods from chuck it's likely that the demand has gone down, due to people wanting the hood allready have gotten it.. so Jason might be getting rid of his inventory at or slightly above cost.... All this is of course speculation, one thing to note is, if Jason isn't getting his hoods from Chuck, I don't know anybody else who makes 'em in the US....

Thanks DC. Yah that theory does seem to make sense. I was just wondering cuz his prices do seem a lot better if I'm essentially getting the same hood and he is local to me. I just never really heard of anyone purchasing a scoot hood from rx7store.net so I figured I'd see if there was some reason behind it. I know there is an overseas scoot hood floating around which looks to have horrible fitment, so I wanted to make sure this wasn't it.

MAn, usually I think that hood looks too excessive but in black it really smooths out the extreme lines and just looks plain sick. Very nice car herblenny, I can even forgive the vented fenders because they almost look like they belong there

There are 3 versions of Scoot style hood:

Rotary Extreme fiberglass: $1150
Rotary Extreme carbon fiber: $1450
Overseas fiberglass: $500

The one on Herblenny's car is the overseas one.

The one RX7 Store listed for $800 will not be the Rotary Extreme fiberglass one. Their cost will be more than that.

Lenny, is the gap in the picture from the fenders or the front end not fitting right?
